Develop your potential for your university journey

Do you have an excellent school record and want to take an intensive approach to university preparation? Fast Track Excellence is designed for high-achieving international applicants who want to strengthen their language and subject foundations through a demanding programme. Over approximately 3.5 months, you combine the next stage of language learning with subject preparation and specific examination goals.

Who is it for? Exceptionally talented international prospective students with German language skills at B1+ or above, very good school grades and a recognised university entrance qualification.

The programme combines a B2-level German course with subject courses and preparation for TestDaF and TestAS. You develop your German while engaging with requirements relevant to your further path towards university. Language development and subject preparation are brought together within one programme.

Fast Track Excellence prepares you for your further academic journey rather than awarding a professional qualification. The language and subject foundations can support you in engaging with demanding study content and pursuing your intended university pathway.

Your future career prospects will develop through your subsequent degree, chosen field and practical experience. This programme supports an earlier stage of that journey by helping you apply your academic potential to preparing for study in Germany.

Duration: approximately 3.5 months

Programme fee: EUR 4,700, excluding examination fees

Planned start date: 28 February 2028

Application deadline: 15 October 2027

What are the entry requirements?

The programme requires German at B1+ or above, very good school grades and a recognised university entrance qualification. It is specifically designed for exceptionally talented prospective students.

What does the programme combine?

You combine a B2-level German course with subject courses and preparation for TestDaF and TestAS.

Is conditional admission possible?

Conditional admission is envisaged in the programme plan. You must clarify the specific conditions with the provider before applying; it does not mean automatic enrolment.

Are the examinations included in the fee?

Examination preparation is part of the programme. Examination fees are payable in addition to the programme fee.
