From A2 towards university, step by step

Do you have a basic knowledge of German and want to turn it into a solid foundation for university? Fast Track Study Launch gives you approximately 5.5 months to develop your language skills, build subject knowledge and prepare for TestDaF and TestAS. The programme gives your university preparation a clear sequence of progressive learning stages.

Who is it for? International prospective university students with German language skills at A2 level and a recognised university entrance qualification.

Starting at A2 level, you will advance through German language courses from B1 to C1. Alongside your language training, subject-specific courses support your academic development and prepare you for the demands of university study. The program is rounded off with focused preparation for the TestDaF and TestAS exams.

Strong German skills and subject foundations can support the transition to a degree taught in German. With Fast Track Study Launch, you work on this foundation before specialising in a subject during your later studies. Your subsequent career path will depend on your chosen field, qualification and practical experience.

The programme is intended for prospective students who want to prepare systematically for their academic journey. It does not award a professional qualification or replace a degree programme or its admission requirements.

Duration: approximately 5.5 months

Programme fee: EUR 7,500, excluding examination fees

Start date: 6 December 2027

Application deadline: 12 September 2027

Can I join directly at A2 level?

Yes. A2 is the intended entry level. You also need a recognised university entrance qualification.

Which language levels does the course cover?

The programme includes planned courses at B1 and B2 level, complemented by subject courses and preparation for TestDaF and TestAS.

Does attending a B2 course automatically mean I will pass TestDaF?

No. The language courses and examination preparation support your learning. Passing an examination requires the corresponding individual performance.

Benefits

You will have the time and support needed to steadily develop your German language skills while progressing towards specific examination goals. Through a structured, step-by-step approach, you will gain the confidence to master increasingly demanding content and prepare effectively for the next stages of your university journey.
